The ARTDIALOGO 2016 is a program , initiative and a platform to promote intercultural dialogue thru the arts. It is also an encapsulates the art for the public as it uses art for community development in pro motion of an inclusive community.

The program is based on the concept of reciprocity between participating art groups of respective countries. It is a 7-day exchange program that will showcase the heritage, culture, and the art landscape of each participating country. It hopes to provide a conducive setting for the participating artists from Ma laysia and the Philippines to mélange creativity and the cultural experiences into their art creations, which may also be shared to local communities in the hosting country.

The origin of the concept behind ARTDIALOGO is inspired from Anna Karina Jardin’s Mondialogo ex perience in 2006, an intercultural dialogue program and school contest by UNESCO and Daimler Chrysler, which she represented the Philippines and her school at as a finalist in Italy. Her passion for the arts and extensive volunteer work allowed her to design ARTDIALOGO and together with Nemesio Mi randa Jr., one of the most prominent artists who cultivated the art scene for the next generation, and Pe RUPA Malaysia’s Zaki Hadri; ARTDIALOGO became a reality. These three person are the Chairpersons for the program.

Activities under ARTDIALOGO are art exhibitions, art workshops, interaction with local schools in Ma laysia and Philippines, Sharing of best practices, Art forum, and Art management on an international scale.
