Advancing Children's Participation through Wavering the Spectrums of Hope Across borders

Wavering the colors of hope and inspiration for the next generation is one of the gifts and commitment that we do through collaborations. In celebration of #WorldChildrensDay, ArtDialogo Asia, AUREO Gallery and Council for the Welfare of Children worked together in bringing the Spectrums of Hope- An Online Art Exhibition. Spectrums of Hope is an initiative that shows multitudes of children’s creativity and how it is reshaping the world.

The participants were welcomed by the leaders of the three organizations/companies which worked together- Serena Chiam, the Founder of Aureo Gallery; our Founding Artist and CEO, Anna Karina Jardin and Council for Welfare of Children's Director Gemma Gabuya .

We are delighted to hear inspirational messages from the great leaders- ASEC. Rhea Peñaflor from the Department of Social Welfare and Development in the Philippines and Mrs. Nina Pandey from Gurukul Global School in India.

Everyone enjoyed and learned very important life lessons from the story of Afan. The book "It's OK Afan!" was written by Malaysian writer and animotor Kuan Yew Gene and illustrated by Artdialogo Asia's founding artist, Anna Karina Jardin. The breakout sessions on self worth and sparking creativity were led by Singapore International Foundation-Arts for Good Program Fellows (2021). Renowned artist educators and artists from the said fellowship program ; Razcel Jan Salvarita, Melanie Knight, Poulomi Pal and Micah Hilotin delighted all the participants with their activities during their respective breakout sessions. Their creative minds and passion for arts are too contagious that it manifested in the outputs of the participants.

On the last part of the program, Mrs Tourism Philippines 2021 and artist, Hemilyn Escudero-Tamayo and Renowned UK based Artist -Activist and ARTICULATE 2021 Fellow , Ally Zlatar delivered messages to the young artists all over the world, encouraging parents to support their children in pursuing arts and young artists to keep doing what they are doing and believing in themselves.

The online art exhibition showcased 120 works of art that speak volume of what our children of today carry in their hearts. The art online art exhibition can be viewed here : https://bit.ly/SpectsofHopeFS until January 17, 2022.

We would like to thank everyone for supporting us! We look forward to having more events like this and help children in pursuing their passion and honing their skills in art.

Artdialogo Asia will continuously strive in bringing inclusive creative programs for the next generation to share the the beauty of our diversity as a society and advocate for unity in diversity and inclusion through arts education.
